My Story

I'm a coach, educator, and a woman who knows exactly what it feels like to be successful on paper and completely burnt out behind the scenes. For 16 years, I was an international teacher who spent far too long trying to prove myself. I chased roles, titles, and recognition because I thought that was how success was measured. From the outside, it looked like ambition. On the inside, it was a constant need for validation that never really settled.

About a decade ago, the cracks started to show. I looked like I had it all together, but I was exhausted. Overwhelmed. Quietly asking myself questions I did not really want to answer.
Is this really it? Why does this still not feel like enough?

Evenings spent horizontal on the sofa, unable to socialise with friends. Hours spent scrolling food options for dinner, only to end up going to bed hungry and annoyed I could make a decision. On the edge of tears more times than I cared to admit and unable to explain why. Counting down to the holidays, just to get through each day. Constantly unwell with colds, coughs, chest infections... the lot!

I kept going anyway.

Like most high achievers do.

Pushing through.

Coping well.

Being capable.

But the cost was adding up. My skin was breaking out in acne. My sleep was all over the place. Exercise became my singular coping method. But I was deeply unhappy. Even with each new job role, nothing felt like it 'fit' and I wasn't feeling successful like I has been striving for.

Therapy helped me unpack the weight I had been carrying. It helped me understand myself. But coaching helped me move forward. It gave me clarity. Boundaries. A way to turn insight into action. That wake-up call did not just shift my priorities. It changed my life.

At some point, I chose to stop outsourcing my sense of success.

I stepped back and did the deeper inner work. I got clear on my values. I questioned the rules I had absorbed about leadership, ambition, and worth. I rewrote what success actually meant for me.

Coaching gave me the space to slow down, reflect, and make aligned decisions rather than reactive ones.

In 2022, I trained as a coach because I knew I was not the only one feeling this way. I could see it everywhere. Ambitious, capable people doing well on paper but quietly running on empty. Wanting more space, more freedom, more energy, without losing the drive that matters to them.

Now, success comes easily to me. I validate myself.

I choose how I lead and what I lead in. I no longer try to fit into someone else’s box. I create the space instead.

I lead with clarity. With boundaries. With trust in my own decisions. And yes, that feels deeply empowering.

I help ambitious professionals do the same. Find clarity without burning everything down. Create space without losing momentum. Redefine success in a way that actually fits their life now.

Yes, I have the credentials. I am an ACC ICF-accredited coach with hundreds of hours of coaching experience. I use tools from neuroscience, positive psychology, and mindset work.

But more than anything, I live what I teach. I am still a work in progress.

I am not the finished product. I walk this path too, daily. I check in with myself regularly. I reset often. I adjust as needed so I can show up as my best, not just my busiest.

One thing is non-negotiable now: my health and happiness come first.

If you are constantly juggling and secretly fantasising about walking away from it all just to catch your breath, we should talk. You do not have to quit your job or blow up your life. You just need the right space and support to figure out what your version of success looks like now.

I help international teachers who:

  • Finish the day wired and unable to switch off

  • Spend evenings scrolling, snacking, or mentally working

  • Feel tired even after weekends and holidays

  • Keep pushing through illness, fatigue, or burnout cycles

  • Put themselves last because school always comes first

  • Say “next year will be different” and know it probably will not be

  • Are starting to feel the cost in their body, not just their mood

After working together with me as their coach, they leave with:

  • Evenings that actually feel restful, spent enjoying hobbies or spending time with friends

  • Boundaries they can keep without guilt and saying 'no' to things with confidence

  • Fewer exhaustion and illness cycles with far less time spent in and out of hospitals

  • Clarity about their career and next steps so that they can confidently move towards their future

  • More energy for the life they moved overseas for

  • A way of working that does not cost them their health and actually feels fulfilling

This is not about doing less.
It is about living and working in a way that is sustainable.
